The work of the Carers Centre is supported by volunteers in a variety of ways:
Information and Admin
The Carers Centre benefits from the valuable support of a small team of volunteers who assist with admin and information tasks within the Centre.
Clackmannanshire
In Clackmannanshire, our volunteers help out at support group activities and with distributing information around the Clackmannanshire area.
Board of Directors
The Carers Centre is managed by a Board of Directors made up of volunteer members who are elected from the membership of Central Carers Association, a voluntary organisation comprising carers and those with an interest in carers’ issues. The Board meets once every 6 week approximately.
Full training and support will be given to all volunteers and out of pocket expenses will be covered.
