The fifth Carers Parliament will be held on 2 November 2016 at Herriot Watt University. There are places for two carers from each of the 73 Scottish Parliamentary constituencies. Places will be decided by a ballot, which will be held in late July with successful delegates informed in early August. Click here for further information or to enter your name in the ballot.
Falkirk Carers Forum
Have your voice heard: join other carers and representatives from health, social care and the third sector to discuss current issues and hear the latest updates. The Falkirk Carers Forum meets quarterly at the Carers Centre in Falkirk. It is an opportunity for local carers to discuss with service providers, and one another, local and national issues that affect carers and those they care for. The forum will be discussing the Carers Bill – National Eligibility Framework for Carers with Heather Noller from Carers Trust Scotland, the development of a Forth Valley Carers Card, and there will be news from the local Carers Representative on the Joint Integration Board.
