The next Care with Confidence sessions for Clackmannanshire will begin from Wednesday, 23 September. Due to the current lockdown that is in place, all sessions will take place on Zoom and take place between 10 am and 12 noon.  All carers are welcome and there is no cost to attend sessions.

Care with Confidence sessions for September 2020

Zoom coffeeThe Carers Centre is starting a new programme of ‘What Carers Need to Know’ online information sessions on Zoom in September.

The sessions are aimed at those who are relatively new to caring for a family member or friend at home, or carers who would like to know more about the help and support that is available to them and how to deal with some of the challenges that caring can bring.

To make it easier for carers to take part, we will be repeating each session on different days of the week and at different times throughout September/October (depending on demand).

Sessions topics will include:

  • Communicating Effectively
  • Stress & Relaxation

Carers Week 2020!

“This Carers Week, we’re recognising that now, more than ever before, it’s time for us to come together and help Make Caring Visible. Everyone has a part to play in making sure carers are seen, heard, and understood; and helping them to get the support they need to care.”

The 2020 Carers Week will run from Monday 8 June until Sunday 14 June. To celebrate Carers Week, we have put together an extensive programme of events running throughout the week, including: The Big Carers Quiz!, a Cool Creatures Watch Party on Facebook, and more!
