Drop in to our Open Afternoon at the Centre in Falkirk on Carers Rights Day to find out about information, support and services for carers and the people they care for.

Carer Centre staff and representatives from other local organisations will be on hand with information and to answer questions – or just pop in for a cup of tea, a chat, or a healthy smoothie from our Smoothie Bar

Britain’s Best Breakfast

You are invited to join us for breakfast at the Carers Centre on Friday 16 October at 10 am to take part in ‘Britain’s Best Breakfast’, a national fundraising campaign organised by Carers Trust to raise money to help support carers and raise awareness of the role they play. Carers, their friends and family and members of the general public are invited to join us for a fun breakfast and make a donation of £2.  More information can be downloaded here.

Carers Week Success

As part of our Carers Week programme, Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre organised an awareness raising event at Alloa Town Hall on 9th June. As the theme for Carers Week this year was ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’, the event gave members of the public the opportunity to find out about services in the local community that help to keep them healthy and active and safe in their homes. Information was also provided about carers services and support as it is estimated that 3 out of 5 people will take on a caring role at some point in their lives.
